Why An Other Cup?

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh. Hope everyone is in healthy state of Iman and Islam, with the only direction our Iman is heading, is up. InsyaAllah.

My super busy days are over, now that the exams are gone. After this, in the period of three months of holidays, only joy and pleasure is left. Well, this is wrong!

لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ فِي كَبَ
(Surah Al-Balad. Verse 4)
Meaning: Verily we have created man into toil and struggle.
Ertinya: Sesungguhnya Kami telah jadikan manusia sentiasa Dalam keadaan menghadapi kesulitan dan kesukaran (jasmani dan rohaninya);


For Allah has created me into toil and struggle, there is no lasting joy or pleasure in this world. Thus, lets all of us struggle for the afterlife. InsyaAllah.

On to the title of the post, Yusuf Islam has released an album titled ‘An Other Cup’. I have got myself a copy of this, and yes, I have to say that this is the best of all the Pop songs that I have ever bought. InsyaAllah. The CD has twelve mind-opening songs. With great tunes and greater lyrics, the songs have great messages and would prove to be beneficial for anyone who listens to it.

To all the readers, I greatly recommend this CD for yourself, family, friends (Muslim or Non-Muslim). It would make a superb gift idea suitable for any occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries or even as a wedding gift. It would do good for both you and the recipient.
