Why do we complain?

Hello everyone. Hope you all are in the blessings of Islam and strong Iman. I have something nice to share with you all. Here it is.

I went to terawih prayers today at Frank Tate in The University Melbourne. Very nice place. Nice praying environment. And usually after terawih the imam will give a short talk. Today, the imam said something beautiful yet simple. It goes like this. (not exact words but hopefully we can benefit from it)

On the Day of Judgement (Day of the Great Regret or Happiness), Allah will take two person. One super rich man with all the great wealth of the world, and another a super poor person with no wealth but Iman. Then, Allah will ask the angel to dip the poor guy in Jannah(Heaven) just once. Small little dip, very short time. Then, he will be asked, is there anything suffering* in your life? He then will answer.

"By Allah, there is no suffering in my life at all"

Just imagine, one single dip in Jannah only. What would he say if he were to stay in Jannah forever?

The, the angel will dip the super rich man in Jahannam just for a single dip. Then he will be asked, is there any happiness in you whole life. He will the answer.

"By Allah, there is no happiness in my life at all"

One dip only in Jahannam, imagine an eternal life there...


Thus, i call forth my friends and myself to wake up from the false pleasures of life and look far ahead of something called the eternal life. Insya-Allah we will all enter the Jannah of Allah.

Ramadhan Mubarak

Happy Ramadhan to everyone. Finally, the blessed month is here. And, to those reading this post now, be super duper thankful to Allah. Say, Alhamdulillah (All praise be to Allah). For being given the golden chance of being alive now. Being able to meet Ramadhan again.

And, yes. Lets not waste this Ramadhan as it might be our last. I would call my self to not be cheated by the false pleasures of the world.

I remind myslef not to miss any fast for the whole month of Ramadhan.
I remind myself not to make excuses not to pray terawih.
I remind myself not to leave the Quran.
I remind myself to read the Quran.
I remind myself to pray all the prayers in jamaah.
I remind myself to try to fulfill all the sunat prayers.
But, I remind myself not to neglect my studies.
But then again, I remind myself of the real purpose of life.
I remind myself that what i do here goes to eternity.
I remind myself that i wont be living forever.
I remind myself of the Day of The Great Regret.
I remind myself not to be a loser on the Day of Judgement.
Thus, i remind myself not to lost in my studies.

Insya-Allah, We will all do well this Ramadhan.
